IRIS has only acquired sketchy details about the organisation calling itself The Three Bears. The information collected to date is summarised below:
MEMBERSHIP
The Three Bears organisation is a highly eccentric but sinister group. Some of its members have chosen very fanciful names for themselves. This can hide the fact that the group is extremely dangerous, but IRIS officers should be under no illusion that The Three Bears can be toyed with or treated lightly: treat all contact with The Three Bears as a matter of life and death and proceed with great caution.
The organisation is headed by a 'board of directors' calling themselves Red Bear, Green Bear and Blue Bear.
The identities of Green Bear and Blue Bear are presently unknown but it has recently come to light that Red Bear is the former Russian oligarch Boris Medvedev. (View Medvedev's individual profile here.)
Based on the assumptions that Medvedev would only enter into 'partnership' with his intellectual and financial equals, and that Medvedev's personal fortune (although substantial, and estimated to be in excess of US$100 billion) and influence would be insufficient for The Three Bears to achieve their objectives, IRIS believes that Green Bear and Blue Bear are most probably two other rich and powerful individuals.
Other members of The Three Bears that IRIS has identified are: two female assassins calling themselves Snow White and Rose Red, and two male employees known to IRIS as Kluge and Fahad. View their profiles at this link.
FUNDS AVAILABLE
Exact figures of The Three Bears' financial resources are unknown, but based on Medvedev's estimated net worth, IRIS reckons, and works on the assumption, that The Three Bears have at least US$300 billion at their disposal.
ACTIVITIES
It is known that Medvedev has interests in the oil industry.
ASAP has identified and tracked a number of suspicious activities that it associates with Medvedev's known business interests. These include large commercial shipments and movements of substantial sums of money. Analysis still in progress. Further information to follow.
IRIS agents working on this case must update any and all information relating to The Three Bears, however insignificant that information is believed to be.
CONCLUSIONS
It is unclear whether The Three Bears is a terrorist organization or simply a criminal organisation. It is known that some of its associates are suspected members of terrorist cells or extremist groups, but IRIS is uncertain at this time whether these associations are indications that The Three Bears are themselves terrorists and extremists or whether the associations represent 'joint ventures' between the different groups to achieve a limited common objective.
In any event, IRIS assesses The Three Bears as a Level 9 Risk to the security and stability of world order. More information about them is available via this link or by reading the text available here. |
