Yojo is one of the local guides used by IRIS for his native knowledge of the culture and customs in Russia.

Yojo often acts as a chauffeur to introduce agents to key locations and to help them orient themselves when they first arrive in the country or when they need to be transported quickly and anonymously from one part to another.

Yojo is not actually Russian, although he is fluent in the language, among half a dozen others that he has picked up during his varied and colourful life. He is in fact of Turkish nationality; ethnically Yojo is Romani, and has led an itinerant lifestyle travelling to many places in Europe and Central Asia where he is accumulated a wealth of experience mixing among the locals… and a collection of wives and mistresses. Yojo reckons that he has in excess of forty offspring, although he has lost count.

Some of his adult sons and daughters have become some of his most trusted and faithful employees in the trades and businesses he has started wherever he has gone. Yojo certainly has creative flair in his work and his relationships which is why he has proved to be such a valuable asset to IRIS.
